Rather than using a regular pastry crust, I'd like to try a nut based crust. Any suggestions? I was thinking something with pecans, but maybe another nut would be better...?
I would absolutely choose pecan, although peanut has some real possibility, too. You could even spice your pecan crust to match your pie. I would also consider toasting the pecans lightly before grinding.
