Unsweetened Bulk Chocolate in Raleigh

Does anyone have a source? My usual go-to's for bulk chocolate (Earth Fare, TJ's, and Whole Paychex) are not doing unsweetened chocolate. Any ideas?

I've gotten unsweetened Callebeaut blocks at Southern Season. They are now located just after you pass the chocolate bar (if you know the layout then you know where I mean).

How much are you looking for? I'm guessing more than what Baker's will work for.

I usually keep about a kilo of each type (semi, bitter, unsweetened) of chocolate around, with a few bits of milk and/or gianduja around just for fun. Except for a few ounces of emergency Ghirardelli, I'm completely out of unsweetened. I don't know that I'll have time to get out to Chapel Hill before T-day, hence the request for availability in Raleigh.

Oh right okay. I'm assuming you are the person that Andrea Weigl just tweeted asking for help with the same issue. One reply states trying Escazu or Videri. I'm not sure that Kroger would be beneficial or ummm Fresh Market maybe?

Any luck with Fresh Market? As a mitzvah, I'd be willing to pick some up at Southern Season and get it to you somehow. You'd have to tell me how much you need in terms of pounds and ounces though..though I guess I could use an online conversion tool.

I was going to check out Fresh Market tomorrow morning, although I don't believe they've ever had bulk non-candy chocolate in the past. I appreciate your offer but I don't want to put you out. Just to get through the holiday I'll suck it up and buy Ghirardelli from the grocery store and deal with getting out to Chapel Hill when I have a chance. Thanks for your offer, though. It's very generous of you.

If it is unsweetened.. I'd just get Baker's its not bad chocolate and if its less money.. I don't think it would cause a difference. Welcome for the offer.
