Agape Substance

campinodave Nov 16, 2012 11:39 AM

As mentioned on a previous post I will be in Paris in early December and I am putting the finishing touches on my restaurant reservations. One question I have is I read that Chef David Toutain will be leaving Agape Substance on December 1, 2012, and was wondering if I should be concerned about making a reservation for a date after then? I haven't read anything that raises this issue but just inquiring form people in the know!

Thanks, and I'm all the more curious now that I've seen from its web site that its prices have gone up dramatically in recent months.

Had not yet made a reservation so I decided to go to Le Galopin, and had a fantastic meal. Will be reporting back on a number of outstanding meals and one slight disappointment once I get caught-up at work and with all the hoilday stuff.

I have same issue. Already made the reservation and I think I will stick with it. Fingers crossed.

David Toutain has cooked his "last meal" in Agape Substance on the 4th of December.
