Montauk in November
I'm heading out to Montauk with a few friends this weekend and looking for a good place to eat dinner. We have a reservation at Harvest for one night, but are having a tough time finding additional restaurants that are open past October. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Also, if there are some casual fish shacks that anyone knows of that are open...please fill me in!

re: scunge
St Peters was open this summer but I'm pretty sure the shop is closed now. O"Murphys right around the corner on the circle has good fish, most of it fresh, although it's an Irish pub type place. No actual shacks this time of year, mostly pub type places.
I'm going to venture that the Inlet on East Lake Drive may still be open, they know all there is to know about fish and have a great view to boot. Manucci's up by the dock if you want Italian, there are plenty of fish dishes there too. Shagwong in town is open all year, it's hit or miss though. They do try to be a bit upscale, but it's really just a divey bar. The Dock, up by Gosmans, stays open a little later than everyone else, they close sometime this month but if they are open you will get a great meal there, plus possibly a few laughs..it's a different kind of place than most.
You may notice I didn't mention the one place that is open every day of the year, Gurneys. They have a great view but the food is nothing I'd recommend in general.

re: Motosport
Duryea's fish store may be open all year round but not the restaurant, that closes Columbus Day.
I was thinking of mentioning the Montaukett, I love their quirkiness, and the food is much better than one would expect.....but I've always gone there for lunch and not positive they do dinner. They are casual as they come though, with the best view of Gardiners Bay.
