Need recs. near (within 5 - 10 miles) of Four Seasons Toon North
Hi. We are headed to the 4 Seasons for Thanksgiving weekend. I would love to have some options other than the resort food. I know the resort is somewhat remote, but we will have a car and don't mind driving within 5 - 10 miles for a good meal. I did some research and like the looks of: Local Bistro(have reservation), The Herb Box, Lamp Pizza, Toyama Sushi, Pure Sushi and Pinnacle Grill. I don't know how many meals we will eat outside of the resort- I am sure we will be out and about at lunch time some days, and some days we will be ready to leave the resort for a change of pace at dinner. We have one well behaved 6 year old, so nothing too incredibly fancy or meals that take 3 hours. He is used to being in restaurants, so no need for nasty "kid" places. Any sort of cuisine, as long as it's well prepared. I am a pescatarian, so no meat only places, please. Any and all guidance appreciated! Thanks!
+1 for Mastros, great service and food. Cafe Bink has been a huge disappointment both times I was there. Terrible, inept service, long waits for food, really bad both times. Tiny portions of preciously arranged, mediocre, bland food. Have been to Binkley's and enjoyed it, hard to believe that Cafe Bink is under same owner/management. Can't imagine what is going on at Cafe Bink but no reason to go here.
Lon's at the Hermosa
Cafe Bink or Binkley's
Carolina's for divey Mex and Carlos O' Briens for cheesy Mex
RA for sushi
Bourbon Steak happy hour at Fairmont Scottsdale
T. Cooks at the Royal Palms
I'm a fish eater and all these, except the Mex, have great fish options
Four Seasons Troon is lovely..have a great Thanksgiving.
