Talking Stick area reccs

I'll be at a conference tomorrow and Friday at the Talking Stick casino and I'd prefer to not eat at the Talking Stick. Any chowhound ideas in the general vicinity? I will have a car.

Talking Stick is close to Old Town Scottsdale so I'd do a search for that area and you should get quite a few responses. Rancho Pinot is a great suggestion as well.

Also, Frank Lloyd Wright and Scottsdale Rd. is not far by freeway but still close to 10 miles away and there are plenty of breakfast options much closer.

First Watch by Frank Lloyd Wright and Scottsdale Rd is very good for breakfast or brunch.

Rancho Pinot Grill at Scottsdale Rd & Lincoln. Great place to sit at the bar if you are alone and great food.
