Thanksgiving dinner out in SF
Hello Foodies!
Wondering if anyone can recommend a quality Thanksgiving dinner out in San Francisco.
Nothing super fancy, just quality FRESH ingredients. There are so many 4 star suggestions on Open Table but I don't trust the rating system. And they are listing Buca di Beppo as a 4 star restaurant, when I worked across the street from one and I can tell you ALL of their food comes out of a can.
Didn't know if there were places that are regularly open on Thanksgiving.
I was going to go to La Cicca, but they are closed :(
Thank you!!!

Ha ha, pondering that Buca di Beppo rating has kept me up at night.
There are already a few other threads with similar topics. Also consider searching for "Thanksgiving 2011"

re: hyperbowler
Thank you both. I searched TDay postings after I posted, found some good suggestions. I was a little premature. I have made reservations all over the place in hopes of finding something for the group. There are a couple on my list that I am unfamiliar with, can you give me your opinions on them please? The others I am pretty familiar with...
One Market
Ame
Bluestem Brasserie (new for me)
Campton Place
Epic Roasthouse
The Plant, Embarcadero (new for me)
McCormick & Kuleto'sYay food :) Just hoping to make a decision in time to cancel in time.
Thank you!-

Oops. I ate there and remembered it as vegetarian. It certainly has tendencies in that direction. TG menu:

re: DirtyD11
I've had several meals at McCormick & Kuleto's and while I think they are just fine for tourists who may not know better, I have found their food to be just generally okay - and usually over-salted. I've never been to The Plant, but from your list, I would put McC&K on the bottom of your list.
