Thanksgiving in Vail

Decided to spend Thanksgiving away from family, in a place I know nothing about, but always wanted to vist. Can anyone recommend family-friendly faire in Vail?

My fave is Grouse Mountain Grill in Beaver Creek..next door to Vail and the food is fantastic.

Would you recommend Cordillera over FS?
Four Seasons has the Flame..Mirador at the Lodge.
Looks like fab food at both places..thoughts?

I think a factor for the OP is the drive home after dinner. The few times I enjoyed Cordillera I was staying at a home there, but shlepping back to Vail from there with a tummy full of wine may not be a good idea. Another friend lives on Gore Creek in Vail Village, and from there it's an easy stumble home from several good restaurants.

If 'family' includes little people, I would suggest Left Bank on Gore Creek. Beautiful and generally sunny for an afternoon meal. If it's all adults, my go-to is Sweet Basil after dark.
