The cook running it worked at yours truly as a sous, he's Korean and was responsible for the various soup noodle specials on Wed.

in that same strip with county general or whatever that restaurant is? that used to be oddfellows? i drove by there earlier and was thinking that one open space would make a good restaurant haha. cool i've been looking forward to this, read about it a lil bit ago, it's awesome how quickly it seems like things are moving foodwise here lately

Yes, it is right next to County General. Formerly a terrible burger joint catered to the 3am drunk crowds.
According to Toronto Life, the place will have focus on "shio (salt) and shoyu (soy) broth, as opposed to the richer tonkotsu broth that’s served at Sansotei".
