Can you identify this beer glass? Where to buy?

Hi, fellow beer lovers!

My dad inherited this sweet beer glass from his grandfather, and I'd love to get him some similarly shaped glasses for his birthday next month. Does anyone have any idea what this shape is called, or where I could buy a set?

Thanks a ton!

    Hi Matt,
Do you know from which country the glass comes?

      My guess would be Belgium

My grandfather's from the old Czech Republic, but the glass could be from anywhere in Eastern Europe.

I've got a Carling Black Label branded beer glass from their Baltimore, Maryland brewery in that shape, and I've also seen (unbranded) in an ad for Carling Black Label in a series of ads they put out in the '50's and '60's each one featuring a different glass, so they were available in the US.

Maybe you can find something you like here: https://globalbeer.3dcartstores.com/G...

I have no affiliation with them, by the way.

        Well Matt,
This is the closest I've seen: http://www.etsy.com/listing/107063445...

Seems there is only one glass. If you scroll down, you will see the name of the shop is 'The Last Wagon' in Lawrenceville, Illinois. You will see the The Last Wagon's owner's name Emily Doty and a link to contact her. Maybe she knows more about the glass. Don't remember where in the US you are located but she will ship it.

        Hope this helps.

I didn't even think to look on Etsy - Thanks!

Looks like Anchor Hocking made a similar one, this dealer (already sold) had it categorized in 40s/50s/60s:

          http://www.colbertiniglass.com/40s_50s_60s/AH_hollow_stem_beer_glass.htm

Didn't see anything similar on the current Anchor Hocking website. May have to haunt a couple of antique shops.

Or eBay. Here's a current listing:

Thanks a million! That eBay link is really promising - I'll snap those up and see if they match the original.

Thanks, Cattywoman! I sent a message to the seller to see if they have any other sets for sale. You're a huge help!

Just throwing this out there --have no idea the wheres or cost-- but as a last resort, you could have a set custom made.
