Suggestions for a Beginning Stir Fry cookbook?
My boyfriend's sister requested a Wok for Christmas. I thought I'd pair that with a beginner's cookbook for Stir Fry. She lives up in the mountains so doesn't have easy access to ethnic markets or anything like that, so I'm looking for a book that uses basic ingredients you can find in a normal grocery store.
Grace Young's "Breath of a Wok" is a good place to start, I think. Clear recipe instructions, easily found ingredients, tasty flavorful finished dishes. Complete wok cooking instructions, easy to follow, with a wealth of information to get your boyfriend's sister started. The book is a past Cookbook of the Month.
