Good luck Ann. That stretch is a wasteland. I got nuthin'. Your best bet is probably going a little out of the way in New Bedford or Fall River. Had a wonderful meal at Sagres in Fall Rive recently. Great Portuguese food and VERY reasonable. Plenty of yummy seafood dishes for non meat eaters, too. Kind of old school and a bit funky, but in a good way. I had the mariscata (sp?), a sort of Portuguese Bouillabaisse. Yummy stuff!
