I really enjoy visiting peoples homes and snooping at their book shelves....with their permission. I especially like seeing what kinds of cook books they have assuming they are 'foodies'. Here's a photo of my favorite 'swap meet' find. The color photos inside are AMAZING! Of course the recepts are also.

How about my favorite book? Most likely to get plucked off the shelf in an evacuation. I never tire of looking at the pictures and reading the recipes, plus I've made a fair number and loved every one.
