60's Drive-in restaurant in Montgomerville, PA - Lansdale

Does anyone remeber the name of that drive in located at Vilsmier Road and Route 309. I think there's an AT&T store there now.

The other local drive in on Sumneytown Pike, North Wales was the Big Pixy (currently a Bridal Shop) and was located across from the defunct Astor Diner.

Don't recall any others in the Lansdale area...do you?

That was also a Big Pixie. Could go for a big pixie and some baked beans right now. Yum. Closest thing now is the Sonic in warrington/willow grove

And there is one down 202 in East Norriton at Swede Road and 202... but those are bygone days.

sonic? Pretty sure you don't mean a big pixie. One of my kinda friends who was considered by himself and others to be a juvenile delinquent did prank the Big Pixie on Vilsmeier road once. Him and his punk buddies ordered many hamburgers (at least fifty) and after they were just about to deliver them to his car they drove off laughing like loons. /sigh

Are you thinking of Bunky's Bar-B-Que with the yellow neon lighting at the corner of 202 and Germantown Pike? It was a mandatory stop before heading up to Woodie's for golf.
