Deli by mail?

Does anyone have any experience using the mail order service offered by the Carnegie Deli or Katz's? I wouldn't expect the true deli experience to come off the FedEx truck, but I 'm hoping it would at least be a reasonable facsimile of authentic NY deli food. Thanks for any help you can offer.

i've sent pastrami and assorted accouterments from Katz's to a couple of people and both were super pleased -- one had experienced the food in person and thought it traveled well, the other had never had katz's and couldn't rave enough.

I sent my in-laws pastrami or corned beef (can't remember which), from Zingermans and they're still raving about it.
