I haven't been there in quite some time, but it used to be decent, for a sushi buffet. Of course, at dinner you get sashimi in addition to rolls, plus certain fish not served at lunch, like yellowtail (but not always). The only problem with the place is that the food selections hardly ever vary. Go today, and again in 6 months, same dishes, same rolls.
I've heard Minado is really good, but I've never been. Tokyo Sushi Buffet in Freehold used to be really good, but I've heard it's gone downhill (and the fish pieces have gotten smaller). There's a new sushi buffet coming to East Brunswick as well, where Hong Kong supermarket is.
For what it's worth, Freehold Grand Buffet has a decent sushi selection, with a dedicated sushi area, included in the price. I've gone there for dinner and gotten quite a lot of decent sashimi - yellowtail, tuna, salmon, etc.
There's also Ichi Umi at the Menlo Park mall. This is the granddaddy, with regards to price, anyway. :) But, I've been there and had some fish I had never even heard of before, so it was worth it for that aspect alone.
