Beanwood Coffee Latin Bistro, Bordentown
We had a reservation here last Friday but a storm named Sandy postponed us to last night. We had heard that the Friday Tapas night was special and after our meal last night I fully agree. The two talented owner chefs Elizabeth Acevedo and Pedro Gomez can turn out some fantastic dishes that are both artfully plated and delicious.
The Friday night Tapas menu is a series of diversified small bites that show the range of the kitchen. Here is the list of what we had with a description. For $35.00 per person, this is excellent value. Bring your favorite wine or brew, sit back relax and get ready for a real treat.
This is a local coffee house during the day serving breakfast and lunch (which I’m told is excellent), weekend nights is when the tablecloths come out, candles on the table and transformation to upscale restaurant.
The pictures follow the order of the menu. We were told that paella night (Saturdays) is in the planning stage, can’t wait!
