A previous post asked about recommended Thanksgiving take-out. Might people have recommendations for Thanksgiving meals, either as buffets or as individual dinners? Thanks!

Nicollet Island Inn does a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. And it is a lovely setting, especially around the holidays.

Star Tribune had a live chat about it on Thursday - go to the Taste section in Lifestyle for the recap.

Haven't been there in a couple of years (out West with the in-laws) but we've always had a nice time at Kincaid's in St Paul. And as a bonus, it's usually much less zoo-like than other places.

St Paul Hotel and Lake Elmo Inn do them on the St Paul side. I have been to both and could rave about them for quality service selection etc. I would highly recommend either one
