HydeStreet Seafood and Raw Bar is pretty good!

We just called ahead by an hour and got a reservation after a very trying day and was delighted with two fresh "catch of the day" specials plus a salad and a decent bott of white for $100 plus tip for two. I plan to go back again and, please note, I am VERY picky about fish.

    We have eaten here for 12 years. NEVER had a bad meal. Service is great. They remember customers. It is family run and they are great people.

        There were actually two and we had both...halibut en papillotte and ahi tuna encrusted with pepper corns. Both were delicious!

          Thank you, looking at the website yesterday, I learned that cooking en papillote (in parchment) is one of the specialties here.

            They had several other en papillotte items on the menus; we almost always get "the special" as I reckon that's what the chef found to look the best when shopping.
