Restaurants really close to the Lantern Theater, 9th btwn Market & Chestnut

I'm hoping for recs very close to the theater for a pre-theater meal, so not a leisurely-paced place.
The theater box office rec Square Peg, and that seems okay, but I thought I'd ask the Chowhounds.

I'm not sure what kind of price/atmosphere you're after, but Aqua (Malaysian) is right on Chestnut there, and a couple blocks north of Market on 9th you're in Chinatown and could go to Rangoon or E Mei.

There's a bunch of restaurants between 7th & 8th on Chestnut -- Union Trust, Chifa, Morimoto, Jones as well as some Mexican restaurants whose name I forget (restaurant also forgettable).
Square Peg would be OK too. There may be more restaurants near Square Peg on Walnut Street; Coyote Cafe for example.
