Italian Dish on The View Today

Can anyone tell me where to find a recipe of an item that they showed on The View today, November 8, 2012. It was an Italian savory dish made in a spring form pan. From what the cook said she fried thin slices of eggplant which she then used to line the sides of the spring form pan. Then there were layers of meat and other things inside. Un molded it was as high as a cheesecake and looked like it was something that could be made ahead of time and then reheated. It looked very interesting and it seemed very different.

Thank you for identifying the dish. From what I found it goes under the name eggplant timpano and eggplant timbale. Can I make this ahead of time and freeze it? Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could change the recipe to eliminate all the dairy products.
