Anyone ever found this Turkish sesame ring bread in Chicago?

    Did you see Amazing Race last week? I hadn't heard of simit and it looked so good! I might follow you there once you confirm a successful find.

      No. I was in Istanbul a few years ago and have been hoping to get some ever since....

      Also try calling Istanbul Market on Elmhurst Road in Mount Prospect. They've got a pretty wide selection of Turkish stuff.

        Caveat: I don't know if it's a regular item but I believe they've had it in the past.
