Looking for a place with that does great Christmas decorations with good food. (Rockland, Bergen, Westchester)

I am looking for a resturant in the area that will have a great Christmas ambiance. It is my girlfriends birthday in early December and I would like to go someplace with a great warm feel that also has good food and drink. I know Rolf's in NYC is great at Christmastime, but I hear that the food has really gone down hill and I'd rather avoid the city. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

X2O in Yonkers is very festive at Christmas time. My husband and I went with our families around Christmas 2 years ago for a post marriage lunch and it was decorated beautifully! I wonder if the other Peter Kelly restaurants are similarly festive-- maybe some other people will chime in.

Mulinos in White Plains. They are known for their decorations. The day after Thanksgiving until January 1st their decorations are up. They have carolers and a man outside roasting chestnuts. You have to see it because you can't describe it and the food is alway good. Even if you don't have dinner there, you must go for a drink.

I second Kaaaassss recommendation. There is no more beautiful restaurant then Mulinos from Thanksgiving through the New Year. And the food is always terrific.

I went to a holiday dinner at Crabtree's Kittle House several years ago and remember it being very festively decorated... lots of twinkling lights and fireplaces. It's been a while, so I don't know how it is these days or how the food is, but when I was there, I thought the food was terrific. But I mostly remembered the cozy, warm holiday atmosphere. Might be worth checking out!
