Bar to watch basketball near Times Square

Does any one know of a not-too-crowded bar around Times Square to watch the NBA? Things that's not that important: quality of food or drink selection. My friends and I would be satisfied if they simply know how to drop things into a deep fryer and have like three types of beers on tap.

Even though what we care most about is quantity of flatscreens instead of the food, I still bet Chowhounders know NYC better than anyone. To give you an idea of what we've tried but aren't crazy about: Beer Authority, Hooters, and Heartland Brewery.

Smith's Bar 44th and 8th has a ton of nice TVs, decent beer selection and can likely drop things in a fryer.

we ended up at Daltons on 9th ave.

        Tonic was deemed too douchey.
Tir na Nog was playing Elton John, Tiny dancer on 80% of their TVs. WTF?
We then tried Beer Authority which only showed soccer and NFL. we asked for one tv to be switched to TNT. Whoever did the controller apparently thought OKC Thunder vs Chicago Bulls wasn' a game and then switched to TBS. Family Guy.

        These bars yo... LAME.

I went to Bourbon Street on restaurant row once (46th between 8th and 9th). Drink selection was good, food selection good (pretty good wings) and we were there to watch basketball so I know they'll show it.
