fresh turkey, un-injected??

I am going to smoke 2 turkeys for turkey day...

who sells em un-injected and fresh? pretty much untouched except for being prepped?

under 12/13 lbs is a must for smoking.

i would think whole foods, but do any places sell them at a reasonable price?

We order ours from Victor's Jr. in Palms from Shelton's a local operation that sells wonderful natural turkeys. They even are offering organic versions now!

Trader Joe's has three types of turkey; brined, kosher, and natural. If you don't want to pay the price for Diestel, or the other choices at Whole Foods or other premium sellers you might check them out. Good luck.

I've always used Diestel Farm turkeys from How's in Pasadena.
