Anything good to eat in or very near Artesia, NM?

My sister will have to be there on business at least twice a month for the foreseeable future, and so far the food situation has been grim. These trips are packed with work, so she wouldn't have time to go as far as Carlsbad or Alamagordo or anything like that.
