Hi DC folks -- I'll be visiting DC this weekend and hoping there's a winter farmer's market in the DC area... any info would be appreciated!

I'm a fan of the Amish market in Laurel. Excellent selection of meats, souse, baked goods, vegetables, cheeses, and even pickles. The place fills up fast so get there early.

Thanks for the links, and the Amish market sounds great -- Haven't been to an Amish market since I lived in PA a few years back, so that sounds amazing.

The biggest and best in the city is at Dupont Circle on Sunday mornings - There are other, smaller ones around the city on Saturday including 14th and U. Courthouse in Virginia on Saturday is a big one as well.

The Dupont Circle Farmer's Market (held on Sundays) is open all year round.
