  1. Funnily enough, I live about 2 mies from it and had heard rumors, but until I got the flyer this week, I never knew where it was and that it was opening so soon!

I was clueless, too, until the ad came in the mail. It's not visible from Rt. 1, so until the sign went up, I'm sure most folks had no idea.

the thing is...........if I'm at home depot, the liquor store, Target, etc........I usally take the "shortcut" across the light and behind the Britton Lake stores down to Dilworthtown road...........I still didn't have a clue! I'll just have to follow the crowds!

So you mean you drove right by and still didn't notice it? I'm not surprised. When I was at the Fresh Market last week I went looking for it, and almost did a U-turn before I got there because I didn't think I was in the right place. All in all, it's a strange location for a chain that usually plants its stores in high-visibility locations.

Was there Wednesday, decided to go to it vs the one in Delaware because of the I95 construction issues. Sales tax added a few dollars but since I bought mostly food it wasn't bad. Store looks nice, it might be a little bigger then the DE store, its hard to say since the layout is different. Had the traditional "Costco Sample Lunch" while wandering around and grabbing my stuff. Midday the crowds were pretty easy to deal with, was able to park reasonably close and checkout was quick.

I was in there yesterday, late in the afternoon, and I was surprised at how quick the checkout was. There were people waiting in line to get their Costco shopper cards, but that was the only real line I saw. I wonder if locals don't know Costco is even there.
