Plume at the Jefferson

Hi all,
Am jonesing for a 'fine dining' experience and wanted to try a new place...have heard good things about Plume. i just got on the website and the menu shows just a "prix fixe" menu. i can't eat that much food! Does anyone know if Plume has an ala carte menu as well? Also, any feedback on whether it's good and what to order (if there is a choice!) would be appreciated! thanks
