where to have dinner on thanksgiving

im arriving into NYC, on thanksgiving day, and i have been looking at many of the high end restaurants and they are all close for dinner,
can somebody recomend me where can we go ?,

    Picholine and Tocqueville will be open for dinner.

      i think i read that picholine is close, or something happend to the owners that they are gettin sue, are they still going to be open ?

        Picholine is open right now. Personally I don't think that the recent bankruptcy filing would be a problem but if you're worried that Picholine might not be open for Thanksgiving you should probably make another reservation somewhere else.

      Artisanal has a very nice Thanksgiving Feast. You can go traditional or otherwise. It may not be as "high end" as you want.

        We go to Keans. I'm not sure that it qualifies as "high end" any more, but it's a real New York City classic. They roast a ton of birds and have an amazing mutton chop and prime rib on the menu as well. It's worth going just for the general flavor and the sense of being part of something with a long and revered history.

          Thanks a lot, any other ideas? I heard that daniel will be open but only till 7pm, and maybe the nomad, (but we are going to EMP after a couple of days) so dont know if its very similar
