Dinesty on Richmond?

My eyes may have been deceiving me but I believe I saw a sign for a new Dinesty (the Taiwanese joint from Richmond, not to be confused with "Dynasty") on Robson near where the Benkei is.

  1. That would be nice ! RIchmond location is often too busy (ie: lineups) and they give you a 90-min limit at your table (if you didn't know that).

    1. Your eyes are not deceiving you - or I've been having the same hallucination! No idea when it will be open but I am seriously, seriously excited.

I must say, despite Richmond being the epic centre of many very good Shanghai (and variations of) restos, I often cringe at the idea of driving to it. Then there's the parking aspect. And getting my precious car sheetmetal dinged from other car doors.

Next time try the Canada Line. 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Problem solved.

I hear ya, Florentine. Thing is, with car at least we have easier/faster mobility within Richmond in the event the intended restaurant doesn't work out due to long lines, being closed, someone changing their minds, etc. But yes, car-free options are always good.
