The only good thing about the Hurricane

Was that I had to re-locate to Middlesex County and discovered JJ Bittings Brewpub in Woodbridge. I sat at the bar and drank 8 Victoria Amber Ales, and felt better for awhile. As good a brewpub, if that classification exists, as you will find in NJ. Or beyond for that matter.

Nowhere near Middlesex County, but the Morris Tap & Grill in Randolph (Morris County) has a really nice selection of craft beers on tap, and many, many more in bottles. Food is pretty darn good, too. My new favorite is Schneider & Sohns Hefeweisen. So good.

Good place for beer and bar food but be cautious about more complex dishes . I like their Avenel Ale with one of their burgers .
