Looking for a food and beer centric weekend ski holiday. Which Vermont mountain should I make homebase?

Hi, I would like to go to a mountain for the weekend and be within 30 minutes driving distance to restaurants or eateries featuring local ingredients and near to a brewery or beer-centric bar. Upon my searches, many of the states most well received restaurants and breweries are quite far apart from each other. I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction. I would like to stay in Central/Southern Vermont this time as I only have a few days but if you think anything in Northern Vermont fits the bill, by all means, please let me know. Thank you!

Guess it depends on how refined your ski skills are...since you are from nyc, I would stick to Stratton and Okemo - they will have the flat, wide open, groomed trails you are looking for.
