Professor who first identified "French Paradox" dies at age 84
I don't know precisely why but I am reminded of "The Onion"'s great headline some years back...."Jacques Derrida 'dies'."
Wife's grandfather, from Lyon, FR, died at 99.9 years of age, and never had a meal (breakfast included), where he did not have a glass of wine. He also celebrated each evening with a glass of whiskey, and smoked cigars daily, until the day of his death.
With the exception of the whiskey, I am trying to follow in his footsteps - need to add a Champagne to each breakfast though.
