At 8th and Washington, it's the huge gaudy building with a parking lot. I walked by today (Sunday) and peeked in, they were doing dim sum with the carts.

Has anyone tried for dim sum or otherwise? It didn't look very busy, usually a bad sign for dim sum.

Mixed reports, but most are negative. I wouldn't waste my time when there are so many more appealing options in the area.

I don't think there is any other dim sum in the area, or even good Chinese food for that matter. There is the place at 11th & Washington, anyone been there? I think they have a dim sum menu.

That's Wokano, supposedly they actually do dim sum on carts there but that's another place I've never set foot in.

Re: Wokano, never had the dim sum, but I've been a couple of times for their more unusual Chinese dishes (duck tounges, fried baby frogs). Not bad.

Wokano, as Buckethead and SP1 mention. They do have dim sum but they also have terrible reviews. If you try it, please report!

My husband and I have been there for dim sum a few times. I've found it to be inconsistent. We loved it the first time we went (maybe 2 to 3 years ago) and then thought it was ok with limited options the few times we've gone after that. We've also been there during different times, so that may have something to do with it. It's never been super busy.

It's been there for ages, I've never heard any reports on their dim sum one way or the other (except for the fact that it exists) so I've never braved it myself. The exterior doesn't really make me want to go in.

Believe it or not, that building is a repurposed Burger King. Imagine, a Burger King did not do well three blocks away from Pat's and Geno's.
