Fresh ham problem

So I bought a fresh ham that's bigger than my head. I've already cut off three or four huge chunks of pork that I froze for later use. What I'm left with is about a foot and a half long piece of pork and bone surrounded by skin. It's way too big for a freezer bag, so I need to something with it soon.

Any ideas?

  1. This would make a great piece of meat to boil with some beans, provided you could get it into a stockpot. How hard would it be to cut it into two or three pieces?

      I can't get it smaller, although I might try again when I'm not so tired. I make red beans and rice frequently, but I don't usually use that much pork in them, just a ham hock or two. There's a meals worth of pork on this leg if I could get it off the bone.

      1. Cuban Sandwiches and Cracklings......followed by soup.
