I'm going to visit my sister this weekend. I was going to bring some home made jam, good butter and bread. I just found out she has gone gluten free. Any suggestions?

For your jam and butter, how about GF scones? I've not had these, but I've liked other things from Flour Girl in Healdsburg. The trick will be finding some on short notice --- try calling the Cheese Shop and Shelton's in Hburg. And possibly at the farmers market stand today.

Some times Village Bakery in Sebastopol has GF products but do call before heading over there.

Thanks Melanie. Scones would be a great alternative.

Grindstone Bakery's gluten-free breads and pastries might meet your needs -

You can find the line along with other gluten-free products at Community Market on Mendocino Avenue just south of Steele Lanes. 546-1806
