Westin Waltham Boston - anything decent near by within walking distance ?

Originally started a thread about chow places close to a hotel in Bedford but just found out that I will stay at the Westin Waltham Boston. Instead of asking for places in the old thread I thought it would be easier to start a new discussion. So anybody knows any good restaurants (open for any kind of cuisine) within walking distance of the Westin Waltham Boston ?

There is not much.. Naked Fish, Bertucci's, maybe a Thai place across the street if I remember right.. if you could get a cab to Moody Street in Waltham, there is a lot there..

How far is Moody Street from the hotel and how easy is it to get a cab in that part of the city especially later at night. (I live in San Diego and in some parts getting a cab is not always easy). What are some favorite places on Moody Street ?

There are always cabs waiting at the commuter rail station, which is a short walk from the Moody street restaurants. If not, just make sure you have 1 or 2 Waltham cab company phone #s and call for a cab. Moody Street is a couple of miles from the Westin.

On Moody Street, we like Pho and Spice for Vietnamese/Thai. We also like Mulan (Taiwanese) on Main street.

I just start to look through some of the restaurants on Moody street. Tempo looks not bad but some of the comments on CH are mixed. Was anybody recently at Tempo ?

Solea (tapas) was good, although I haven't been there in a while..

There's nothing within walking distance of that hotel, but some great options a 5- to 10-minute drive (or cab ride) away.
