Recommendation for a thank you dinner in Oakland

Looking for a fun, tasty, relatively casual dinner spot in Oakland suitable for a work dinner (a thank you dinner for a referral). Don't like/want stuffy. Love Wood Tavern , but can't get reservations at the time I want -- but something similar/equal to that would be terrific, or any new place that you think would be appropriate. Any recommendations are truly appreciated! Thanks.

Since you said Wood Tavern, then I'm assuming noise isn't an issue? How about Luka's? Definitely not stuffy!

Luka's is WAY noisier than Wood Tavern. They crank the music up really loud. Same goes for Mua (though sitting in front at happy hour it's usually not noisy).
