Chipotle in Central Square, Cambridge?
Any idea when this is opening? Last I checked there was nothing on the front door except for a "not yet" sign... I'll be so glad to have a Mexican option that's not Picante right in Central Square.

Pretty sure it's open now. I am actually glad it's there. There's tons of great food in Kendall now, but I don't know of much that's super fast (though open to suggestions!). It'll be nice to have something to grab on my way home when I'm in a rush.

re: David_A
I had my first two chipotle experiences recently due to the new one in kendall. I had the same thing both times, barbacoa. Maybe it's just what I had but I was struck at how much the beef tasted like taco bell.
Mind you, I'm not nearly as anti-taco bell as I should be so this wasn't a bad thing. I was just struck at how much praise the place gets and yet if you had put it in a TB wrapper I'd just assume it was a slightly new item (i.e. same ingredients, different format)

re: clandestine
There's always the #1 bus, which with the bus tracking available is a lot more convenient than it used to be.
I'll grant you though, based on your description I used to live within a 1-1.5 blocks of your workplace and I rarely would go there (yet I don't mind the slightly longer walk from my workplace, go figure).
I always disliked Picante, it'd range a bit but it never even entered the 'neutral' phase.
