Saul's or Bi-rite for Thanksgiving Takeout?

BLD Nov 1, 2012 08:30 PM

Thanksgiving will be a pre-prepared meal for us this year. After researching past threads, I have narrowed it down to Saul's or Bi-rite and was hoping 'hounds could share their experiences with either or both places. Much appreciated!

Last time I had turkey at Saul's was 2-3 years ago. It was pretty good that time, but they have been making a lot of changes in the kitchen trying to be something they are not. I guess being a NYC deli wasn't growing the business enough. The turkey there would probably be acceptable.

      Bi-Rite's prepared foods are top-quality.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like Saul's has BN Ranch heritage turkey for Thanksgiving. Has one tried this at Saul's?
