Oakland: Piedmont Avenue restaurant with full bar

Hello: I'm looking for dinner tomorrow before a movie on Piedmont that includes a full bar. Adesso is too snacky and I'm not loving Cesar these days.

I've only had lunch at Park Avenue Grille, but it was pretty bad -- is dinner any better?

I'm totally drawing a blank. Any thoughts on good food plus liquor?

Kerry House is a long time local bar and the Indian place next door will serve their food to you there on request (unless this has changed recently).

Well if The Kerry House is thrown in the mix we might as well add Egbert Souse's @3758 Piedmont Ave.

Hella CHEAP food comes out of Chan's Kitchen in the back until 9PM

Steak dinner $8.95. Fish and Chips $5 bucks. Food is better than you would think for the price.
Full bar.

Not as sketchy as you may think (if you get out of there before 8PM.)
Many Kaiser and Auto row workers go after work and for lunch.

Certainly not place to bring a first date....or a 2nd or third.

Raj India's food ain't half bad--my native Indian friends like it.

There are so few full bars on Piedmont, and as the OP notes, Cesar isn't all that anymore; so Kerry House and Raj India might be the way to go.
