Brougiere's Egg Nog Sighted...

Those famous yellow glass bottles are now available at Ralphs. Do with this information as you will. Carry on.

(yes, it's not even Halloween yet...)

Who has this? Ralph's said brougiere's ran out. They've been waiting for a shipment.

I saw the egg nog at Sprout's Culver City, but that was about 4-5 days ago. Better call first if there's one near you.

Saw it at Ralphs on Sunset (90046) and Bristol Farms at Sunset & Fairfax a few days ago. Its about $1.50 more at the latter.

Rock n' roll Ralph's? How much is it now? I called around and Gelsons said they have a ton of it. Century city and Santa Monica blvd ones. I was worried it might be a few $ more at Gelsons and that's why they have so much of it.

Thanks for the replies, going get some now.

Sorry that this is probably too late to help. Don't quote me, but I believe it was $5.99 a quart at Sprouts when I saw it.

This also includes a $1.25 bottle deposit that's refundable....it's the only milk I use and that's why it's more expensive.

Whole Foods gives back $1.50 for each of those bottles, regardless of where you bought it.

Do they really? I'm glad to hear it, because my local recycling center will only give me 10 cents per bottle!

My word. That's enough calories to power an entire Himalayan village for a week!

An entire one quart bottle? That stuff is waaaaay rich...are you feeling alright? :). One small glass and I'm finished.

Yep, the entire quart bottle. Just played 2 hours of basketball, so that barely covers it calorie-wise.

Mmmm... Nothing says proper refreshment after 2 hours of hoops more than a bottle of hyperosmolar egg-yolk-laden syrupy sweet gooey egg nog! :-)

On a related note, egg nog ice creams are also starting to show up as well: Talenti Egg Nog Ice Cream at Gelson's Century City this week.
