Election night dinner/drinks

Hello all,

Hope everyone is staying dry during Sandy. I will be be in town next week and was looking for a recommendation as to where to watch the election results roll in next Tuesday. Preferably a place with excellent cocktails and excellent mid range priced food. One other person will be joining me, so bar seating is fine, and actually preferable.

A couple options that jumped out where PS7's and Againn. Was not sure how their TV situation was though.

Also I will be staying at the Renaissance Downtown, so an extra plus if it is located nearby.

If is was in town instead of out working on the the elections I would be at my parties private club on Capitol Hill. (They both have one I just don't want to self identify)

For an out of town-er . . . .i would suggest calling the Old Ebbitt Grill. They may even be having an election evening event. It is right next to the White House and their are bound to be politicos about. If you want to hang with a conservative crowd . . . I would hang out in the bar at the Capitol Grill on 6th and Pennsylvania Ave.

I believe Againn closed. But PS7 is a good idea. In their bar area they have at least one large tv that I know of. I should mention I've never seen them have the volume on if that matters.

Another option would be Brasserie Beck, if you want beer instead of cocktails.
