Any Wedding Venue Ideas

delys77 Oct 29, 2012 12:31 PM

Hello all
We are planning a small wedding in August of 2013 and we have started looking at venues. Unfortunately, lots of the rooms are out because we are only planning for 40-50 guests. Does anyone have any great ideas for a wedding venue in Vancouver.

Check out this list of venues with private rooms on OpenTable, there's actually lots of options for a group of your size:

If the link doesn't work (it's not defaulting into a link so I'm not sure if it will), go to Opentable, and then click on the link below the reservation box that is called "Find Vancouver Private Dining Venues" - it's on the right of the four boxes.

Thanks so much. We will have a look, but I think we might have found the right venue. We checked out the false creek yacht club today and I think the room will work. It might b a little rookie for 40 people but there is room too set up for catering, a small dance floor, a great patio, full kitchen, and a stunning view. We are quite excited.

Went to a wedding there some years ago and it was indeed delightful. Only catch was the columns in the middle of the room impeded view of vows for many attendees but with only 40 you could prolly set it up differently. Food was tasty IIRC.

Yeah the pillars were the only catch, but with 40 of us we will set the on one side of the pillars and then leave the other side open for the buffet, cake, bar, dance floor (and some bar tables for those who wish to have a seat between dances). Should work very well.
