Blue Barn in Corte Madera?

A branch of Blue Barn is now open in the Corte Madera Town Center. The menu looks interesting. Has anyone been? I've never gone to the one in the City, so I'm not familiar with the food. Thanks!

  1. Long lines, fresh food. The menu is very complicated, but I think the food is good and the concept is great. The grilled cheese sandwiches are fantastic.

    1. Had a late lunch there today and ordered the Kickin' Chicken sandwich (grilled chicken, Niman bacon, smoked gouda, caramelized onion, barn bbq sauce, and thyme slaw on a ciabatta roll, $10.75). This was a quite good, over-the-top sandwich at a high price, meaning that it was big enough for two normal/moderate eaters and loaded with good ingredients.

      1. I had lunch today at Blue Barn in Town Center in Corte Madera. I ordered the spinach salad with grilled wild salmon. SPINACH salad - baby spinach, chicory chop, cherry tomato, mixed gypsy peppers, carrot, cucumber, red onion, sunflower seeds, garlic croutons & pt. reyes blue dressing. $10.50 Grilled salmon $6 additional. It was quite good except, and it's a big except, the "pt. reyes blue dressing" had almost no flavor at all. If they actually put Pt. Reyes Blue in it, it was wasted because there was so little that the dressing was no better than any commercial smooth, white, blue cheese dressing, actually more bland and tasteless than most commercial ones. This place tries hard to do a good job, and I've liked other things there, but that bland dressing made the whole salad mediocre.
