Best Meat Dish in NYC

Looking for a good meal comparable to the Cote De Boeuf at Minetta Tavern (maybe not as expensive, but this was one of the best steak meals I've ever had). What is the best meat dish you've had in NYC?

What about places that do whole hog, lamb, interesting concepts, etc.?

Since brisket seems to be the dominant dish, add the brisket with bone marrow that once came as part of the beef seven ways meal at Ma Peche. If you like meat, you should try that meal. Not everything is great but there are some stellar items in the seven dishes.

the stopped doing the beef 7 ways a while ago, now it is fried chicken and/or lamb, done up halal guys style.

For beefiness and large set menu, Breslin does the rib roast, i thik 110 a person and Resto in the same area does a large format feast with beef i heard is interesting. As for Minetta, try their bone in strip which is just amazing.

While it is just as expensive as the terrific steak at Minetta, Craft occasionally has a dry-aged ribeye for 2 that is insanely good. In fact, those two are my favorite steaks in the city.

the short rib entree at il buco alimentari is a pretty excellent meaty dish...though, i did feel like it reminded me a lot of the moist brisket available at hill country bbq.

i think hill country is a good starting point. the moist brisket, the ribs as well.

Moist brisket at Hill Country is really good. And Takashi ($) has delicious grilled-at-the-table parts from all over the cow.

Any place that serves Roast Suckling Pig......mostly in Chinatown.
