MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE A ONE NIGHT LAY OVER IN ATLANTA IN MID NOVEMBER AND WOULD LIKE TO SAMPLE SOME GOOD FOOD AND NIGHT LIFE. CAN WE EXPERIENCE SOME MEMORABLE FOOD, MUSIC AND PERHAPS DANCING IN ONE PLACE OR WITHIN CLOSE PROXIMITY? ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Where in Atlanta will you be staying? Its is a very large, spread out metropolitan area. Any speciifc cuisines or price points? Will you have a car? The more information of this type you can provide, the better the recommendations you will get.

And to carolinadawg's point, what kind of "night life" or dancing are you looking for? Are you looking for 20-something crowds or more 60-something appropriate.

And I meant to add, any discussions of nightlife and dancing will probably be deleted by the site moderators, as this site is strictly for the dicussion of food.

      Focus your search on Midtown.
Great food choices and dance options I would imagine.
Check Halo for late night music.

OK, we'll be staying at Loews on Peachtree. I'm thinking about Miller Union, JCT Kitchen or White Oak Kitchen as possible restaurant options.

I'd also love to get some feedback please on Churchill Grounds, Cafe 290 and Dante's Down the Hatch.

Octopus Bar, no question for something out of the ordinary. There should be things to do in the East Atlanta Village, but this is not the greatest part of town.
