Thanks All. We ended up at Wood & Vine. Enjoyed the food but it was a bit pricey.

Hungry Cat is close by and has great seafood. You are essentially out-of-luck for Chinese in that area. For new American, here are some options: Magnolia, Mercantile, Public Kitchen, Sadie and Wood & Vine; of these five, I would probably lean toward Public Kitchen or Wood & Vine.
