Glendale deposition

Several years ago we were visiting LA and a van crossed a double yellow to get in the car pool lane almost taking us out. So now we get to go to a deposition for the insurance claim. O Joy! Insert sarcasm

Good part is we will have some time for dinner in Glendale and as I love Middle Eastern food I'm in the right part of town. Hubby and I are currently avoiding grains (health issues) we would like a recommend based on the apps, meats and side veggie dishes of some of the fav places like Shamshiri, Carousel, Elena's or others

Elena's - beef shish, greek salad and grape leaves. I can't tell from your post if you've visited Elena's or Carousel before, but Elena's is great for take-out/low key dining, and Carousel is a nicer sit-down joint with belly dancers on the weekends.

Kabob Way on Glendale blvd. (near Elena's) also has legit Middle Eastern/Armenian fare.

If Carousel is the one across from a Cuban bakery I was there many years ago. Is it? I remember having some kind of liver dish that was good. I have never been to Elena's or Raffi's
