Glendale deposition

Several years ago we were visiting LA and a van crossed a double yellow to get in the car pool lane almost taking us out. So now we get to go to a deposition for the insurance claim. O Joy! Insert sarcasm

Good part is we will have some time for dinner in Glendale and as I love Middle Eastern food I'm in the right part of town. Hubby and I are currently avoiding grains (health issues) we would like a recommend based on the apps, meats and side veggie dishes of some of the fav places like Shamshiri, Carousel, Elena's or others

Thanks and
Happy Eating

      Second the Raffi's Place recommendation...

Also, stop by Porto's Bakery afterwards and see if something there suits you...

    2. Elena's - beef shish, greek salad and grape leaves. I can't tell from your post if you've visited Elena's or Carousel before, but Elena's is great for take-out/low key dining, and Carousel is a nicer sit-down joint with belly dancers on the weekends.

Kabob Way on Glendale blvd. (near Elena's) also has legit Middle Eastern/Armenian fare.

If Carousel is the one across from a Cuban bakery I was there many years ago. Is it? I remember having some kind of liver dish that was good. I have never been to Elena's or Raffi's
